Ken Hansen to Attend Safe Harbor “Rent” Fundraising Event on April 13th

Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center is holding its annual “Rent” event on April 13th from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Goodman Community Center on Waubesa Street in Madison. An autographed hardcover of Ken’s new novel, The Light of Our Yesterdays, will be included in a group of books by Wisconsin authors being auctioned off during a silent auction held at the event.   If you have already purchased his novel, bring it along and Ken will gladly sign it at the event.  Tickets to the fundraiser are available at http://www.safeharborhelpskids.org/p/rent-party.html.

Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center reduces trauma and promotes healing for children and adults with intellectual disabilities who are victims of or witnesses to crime.  To accomplish its mission, Safe Harbor provides a trauma-informed, safe, child-friendly environment for best practice forensic interviews; immediate and ongoing advocacy for affected children and families; and coordination and support of multi-disciplinary investigations and responses.
